The author was born and raised in South Africa. He achieved his medal education and diploma from the University of Witwatersrand ( Wits ) and practiced Internal Medicine for 45 yrs in the USA , running a Cystic Fibrosis clinic, Tuberculosis clinic and Coal Miners clinic as well as a Private Practice. Volunteer experience included at the Kibogora Hospital in Rwanda Personal interests include Wild Life photography and Ornithology and tennis instruction for his children and grandchildren.
